
Stacy spent 17-years in sport management, providing logistical and administrative support to Olympic and Paralympic athletes. While working with elite-level athletes, Stacy learned about performance, resilience, and the importance of good mental health. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Social Service from the University of Denver and a Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She has additional training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and complex trauma treatment.
Stacy specializes in performance and complex trauma treatment with a focus on developing mindfulness as a skill. She uses a variety of modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), MBCT, and EMDR, and she incorporates neuroscience, helping clients to have a better understanding of their own thoughts and emotions. She is affirming, client-focused, and believes in the strength of the human spirit.
In her free time, Stacy is an artist. She enjoys hosting game nights, barre fitness, meditation, and is currently training her cat, Crosby, to be an adventure cat.
