Lela loves couples therapy, and has 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. Her practical, no-nonsense approach has helped many couples improve and save their relationships, whether the relationship is in crisis or is in need of a tune-up.
She believes in skill-based couples therapy, meaning you will learn evidence-based skills for healing the past, improving the present, and looking forward to the future in your relationship. Special areas of interest include: military couples, couples dealing with PTSD, and couples parenting a child with special needs.
Lela has office hours on Saturdays. She has applied for contracting with BCBS, Aetna and Medicaid, but until she is in-network, Lela can accept clients wishing to self-pay for their therapy services or use their out of network Aetna benefits. Lela can also accept Aetna EAP at this time for short-term, strategic couples or family therapy.
